Development
Plan 2010

The review of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) has begun. MD of Foothills Council adopted the existing MDP back in 1998.  Now ten years later, Council has initiated a comprehensive review of this important strategic plan. The MDP is the top level statutory plan that provides guidance on planning decisions by council as well as addressing the general planning considerations that cover the entire 3367 square kilometres of land within our Municipality.
