    Effective: 1:10 pm, July 17, 2017.

    MD of Foothills has placed a Burning Ban on all open fires including burning barrels and Fire Works. All open fires are to be extinguished and any open burning permits cancelled. This ban will be in effect until all areas in the MD of Foothills receive substantial moisture and approval is received to lift the fire ban.

  • Hogg Park is OPEN

    Hogg Park is OPEN

    Archie and Janet Hogg Park is open for overnight camping and day use.

    A number of lower bench sites are now open as well as all upper bench sites.

    Access to the park for 2017 is from the upper bench driveway.

    Day Use Area from 7 am to 10 pm daily.

  • New Councillor Divisional Boundaries

    New Councillor Divisional Boundaries

    Effective October 2017

    Divisional boundaries will be changing to accommodate the growing population within the MD of Foothills. Divisions 1, 2, 6 and 7 will be adjusted to reflect the increase in population.

    These boundary changes will be in effect for the Municipal Election - Nomination Day on September 18, 2017 and Election Day on October 16, 2017.

Riparian Restoration Workshop Series
